First, you’ll need to talk to Eshe to start the quest. Furthermore, she is sometimes at the City Hall or wandering between the Kilima Village Bridge and Remembrance Garden. However, you’ll need to complete Eshe’s citizenship quests to unlock the quest which involves Prove Your Devotion, Prove Your Purpose, and Prove Your Generosity. After that, you’ll be able to start off the quest.

Once you unlock the quest, you’ll be asked to craft four pieces of furniture for Subira’s apartment. Next, visit Tish to get the recipe for the furniture set. After you get the blueprints, you’ll need the following materials:

  • Investigator Banner: 6x Silk, 1x Palium Bar, 6x Plant Fiber, 2x Dragon’s Beard Peat
  • Investigator Armchair: 15x Flow-Infused Plank, 2x Palium Bar, 4x Silk, 2x Dragon’s Beard Peat
  • Investigator Desk: 20x Flow-Infused Plank, 4x Palium Bar, 1x Leather, 1x Glass Bulb
  • Investigator Bed: 30x Flow-Infused Plank, 4x Palium Bar, 10x Silk, 3x Dragon’s Beard Peat

You can buy Silk from Tish’s Furniture-Making Guild Store for 580 Gold each. Flow-Infused Planks can be taken from Ashura once you receive Friendship Level 3 with him. Moreover, all other materials can be found easily around the town.

Upon crafting all the furniture pieces, return to Tish and complete the quest. Then, you’ll receive blueprints for The Order Investigator End Table and Sideboard, 25 Renown, and 5,000 Gold. After completing the Fit for a Watcher quest, you’ll start the new questline Your Order Is Served in Palia.

This is all you need to know about how to complete the Fit For a Watcher quest in Palia.

Palia is now in Open Beta and will be released on PC and the Nintendo Switch.
