Want to know how to complete A Well-Timed Bounce of Gatanisis Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom? This shrine can be considered one of the most difficult to discover, with it stealthily hidden away from the main surface map. However, once inside, players must utilize one of Link’s abilities for a short time to open the shrine’s locked gate and earn its Light of Blessing. This guide will explain how you can find and complete Gatanisis Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

Before you can complete Gatanisis Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, you will have to travel over to the cliff that is across from Knuckel Island in the Akkala region. As shown above, the shrine’s location is southeast of Tarrey Town and directly east of the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. Once at the cliff, you can jump down and paraglide below to land on a ridge that holds the shrine. Bear in mind; this area is filled with Lizaflos, so bring plenty of health supplies beforehand.

Upon reaching the Gatanisis Shrine location, you’ll discover a room that features a bouncing platform and a ball that falls onto it. There is also a small target that rests above the right side of this platform. Thus, the objective of the Shrine’s A Well-Timed Bounce puzzle is to have the ball hit the target in order to open the exit door ahead.

Link can achieve this by using his Recall ability on the platform once the ball rolls underneath the target. Do note that Link can take immense damage if stuck by the ball. Thus, it is best to stand on the side of the platform or on the stairs when the ball drops. Once the target is hit, Link will shoot up into the air, allowing him to paraglide to the exit.

Although, those wanting to fully complete the shrine should take the time to paraglide to the structure above the target. That is because it bears a chest with five Flower Bombs, which is certainly worth owning. From there, Link can jump over to the exit to claim the Light of Blessing and leave the shrine.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
