Finding the location of missing people like Pablo is a great way to help your fellow survivors in Dead Island 2. “Missing: Pablo” is one of the many Lost and Found side quests you can take on. It isn’t an easy quest since you will work with minimal details and no waypoints. So, we’re here to help guide you through this Dead Island 2 quest so you can solve the mystery of the missing Pablo.
Dead Island 2 Missing: Pablo Location
The only way to get “Missing: Pablo” is to first advance the story far enough and solve a few missing people cases. You grab them from the Sterling Hotel on Ocean Avenue. Once you do a few of them, you will clear the board so they can add new papers. One of those papers is for Pablo. Now that you have the quest, we can begin our journey for the missing Pablo in Dead Island 2.
Once it is active, head to the fast travel map in the Sterling Hotel to travel to Venice Beach – Blue Crab Grill. When you arrive, your quest shows the following information:
- Which Venice store did Pablo go to for insulin needles?
- Which Venice store did Pablo go to for protein powder?
We will separate both parts as they will take you to two different areas on Venice Beach. Which order you visit the places has no bearing on the quest as you must find both to continue the “Missing: Pablo” in Dead Island 2.
Missing: Pablo – Insulin Needles
If you exit the Blue Crab Grill and jump the fence, veer to the right and head straight down the street. On the right side is Roses Tattoo. The “Missing: Pablo” Dead Island 2 quest is updated with the following information about his location:
- Check the Roses Tattoo parlor for signs of Pablo, a kid in a Bobcats jersey.
Press the button to raise the gate and search Roses Tattoo. Behind the main counter, look for the toaster on a smaller countertop. Next to it is Journal: Need for Needles. When you grab it, you can move on to the next part.

Missing: Pablo in Dead Island 2 – Protein Powder
Now, head to Muscle Beach and follow the directions below:
- Exit Roses Tattoo and run to your right past the bus
- Immediately take a left; you know you’re in the right direction if you see Venice Hot Dog.
- Run beyond that and take the first left.
- Take a final right turn to encounter the large Muscle Beach Nutrition building with the bodybuilder image.
Before you can enter it and continue “Missing: Pablo” in Dead Island 2, you must find a circuit breaker. On the opposite side of the street is Venice Autos. Enter the building and head into the garage. Inside the office is your circuit breaker.

- Throw the circuit breaker over the fence.
- Climb the pallets and drop down to get the circuit breaker.
- Insert it into the electrical panel, and open the garage door.
When inside the building, your quest updates:
- Search Muscle Beach Nutrition for any sign of Pablo
Check near the store’s entrance to find Journal: Protein Please next to some protein containers. It’s time to move on to the next portion of the quest.
Missing: Pablo in Dead Island 2 – Gang Green
Next up in our quest is to search yet another Dead Island 2 Pablo location. The quest will update with this information:
- Pablo’s shopping spree continues! Where’d he go next?
To continue the chase, you must do the following:
- From the Muscle Beach Nutrition entrance, raise the gate to exit and head to your right.
- You’ll run straight down until you see the ice cream shop.
- Gang Green is next door to it. Your quest will update again once you’re close enough:
- Find a way inside Gang Green to look for Pablo.
We’re one step closer to solving our missing person case with Pablo in Dead Island 2. You must:
- First, kill the Doc Martin zombie and loot him for the Gang Green Gate Key.
- When you do, go behind the building toward the parking lot.
- Go through the gate and crouch through the hole.
- When you’re in the right area, you’ll get another quest update:
- Sniff around Gang Green for a sign of Pablo in his Bobcats jersey.
In the store, follow the blood trail. Be wary of the traps since they can quickly knock your health down. The blood trail will lead you to the unfortunate fate of Pablo. Interact with the Journal: High Stakes next to his body to complete the quest.
