With the arrival of Season 5, players have a host of unique missions, new and old, to complete. The faction assignments involve both complex tasks and straightforward tasks. The On The Spot DMZ mission is of the latter, as it is a reasonably easy task to improve your reconnaissance skills but still requires good preparation. Check out the instructions we have provided below to learn what steps you need to follow to complete it.

How To Complete on the Spot Mission in DMZ

You will receive The On The Spot from the Phalanx faction. Here’s what you need to do to complete it: “Mark 10 enemies while in the Castle using a spotter scope.”

Thus, the first condition must be completed exclusively on the Vondel map at the Castle location. The second is that you must have a Spotter Scope to mark enemies. While the first condition is clear, the second may be difficult, as not all players have Spotter Scope, so now we will tell you how you can get it.

How To Get the Spotter Scope in DMZ

If you already have a Spotter Scope that you can attach to your weapon, you can safely skip this step. If you don’t have one and don’t know where to get one, it’s not that difficult. All you need to do is start a match on the Vondel map and explore the locations to find loot containers and chests. By looting them, you will have a certain chance of finding a Spotter Scope, which you can save to use in future matches.

After successfully preparing and receiving the Spotter Scope, you can finally complete the mission. As we mentioned earlier, you’ll need to move to the Castle location, where you’ll need to find a comfortable position where enemies won’t see you. We recommend climbing as high as possible so you have a large viewing angle and can quickly complete the task.

When you’re on the spot, simply use Spotter Scope to mark enemies, and your teammates will know where they are. Don’t worry if you don’t get it right the first time, as your progress is saved, and you can complete the mission in another match.

After successfully completing the On The Spot mission in DMZ, you will receive the following rewards:

  • Double Weapon Experience Token
  • 7500 experience
