When you find the inn in Kakariko Village in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will find Dai. As you talk to this guy, he says a bed will cost you a fortune until he reveals he is not the owner. The guy you need to find went out to fix beds and hasn’t returned. Where is the Innkeeper for Out of the Inn in Tears of the Kingdom?
To find the innkeeper for Out of the Inn in Tears of the Kingdom, you must travel to the large ring structure on the northwest side of Kakariko Village. It is above Lantern Lake. Climb up onto the scaffolding in this area, and you will find a man sleeping on a bed next to a notebook. This is the innkeeper you are looking for.
Talk to the NPC worrying about the sleeper; he will tell you you need a Hearty Truffle to wake him up. Hearty Truffles are rare items you can use to complete this side quest immediately if you already have one. If not, he will direct you toward the waterfall in the town.
Make your way to the waterfall and climb to the top. When the man said he saw a truffle floating in the water, it fell from a cave.
When you get inside, just move forward; this area has no enemies. There will be some ores you can break apart and a small pond that Fairies are flying around. Keep moving forward, and you should find your Hearty Truffle in the middle of the room. There is a second one behind a rock to the right.
After you get the Truffle, travel back to the sleeping man. Drop the Hearty Truffle on the ground to wake him. He will return to the inn, where you can talk to Dai to complete the side quest and get a Sticky Elixir.
