The Pacific Foothold mission in Warzone 2 is one of the most time-consuming objectives in DMZ. This mission is about finding items and placing them in a dead drop. At the same time, finding the location of this dead drop and the items is tricky. Here’s a guide on how to do the Pacific Foothold mission.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 offers the new DMZ mode for valuable rewards. Four factions in this mode provide various missions. If you complete each faction’s tasks, you unlock the next tier so you can continue doing more objectives to gather more rewards.
Now, while some missions task you to ping a location and make contracts, others are much harder to complete. Assignments like the Untraceable, Predator, and Pacific Foothold have some of the most difficult tasks.

- Deliver 3 bottles of the Gun Oil to the Dead Drop.
- Deliver 2 Videocassette Recorders or Gaming Consoles to the Dead Drop.
- Deliver 1 Blow Torch to the Dead Drop.
Reading the tasks for the Pacific Foothold mission in Warzone 2 is simple, but doing them is much more complicated than you think!
The first objective is to find three Gun Oil bottles on Ashika Island. These items are scattered in random places across the map. You can look for them in toolboxes, fridges, and cabinets. They can be anywhere.

The second objective is also the same, but the chance of you finding a Gaming Console or a Videocassette recorder is much higher than the other items.
And last but not least, you must find 1 Blow Torch. This item is so rare, and you might need to replay the DMZ many times to find it. The worth of this torch is 14K, but the objective is not about selling it. You have to put it in the Dead Drop near the residential area on the map.
