First, when you receive the message from Clara, don’t be swayed by her cuteness and rush off to help her right away. As much as we all love to help those in need, it’s essential to understand the situation first.
So, head to the Robot Settlement and ask Clara about the trouble. Listen carefully to her and try to understand the issue at hand. Don’t worry; she’ll guide you through the rest of the mission.
The next Rarely Affectionate objective involves following Toby and investigating other broken robots in Honkai Star Rail. Once you’ve successfully followed Toby, it’s time to report back to Clara. She’ll be waiting for you near Svarog’s base. Tell her what you’ve discovered. But, unfortunately, this will not be enough to repair the little guy.

You know what you must do as you receive Clara’s new message. You promised her that you would check up on Pascal, and you can’t break that promise. So, head to the Robot Settlement and check how the little guy is doing.

The next objective in Clara’s Honkai Star Rail Rarely Affectionate involves heading to the machine graveyard to find a “suitable shell” for Pascal. Clara knows her way around and will guide you through it.
After fighting an Automaton Direwolf and finding a suitable shell, it’s time to head back to Svarog’s Base. With everything you’ve just gathered, Svarog can fix Pascal. With your expertise and Clara’s help, we’re sure the little robot will be up and running in no time.
But wait, Pascal has run away? Chase him to Rivet Town and investigate where he’s gone. This is where things start to get interesting. He’s next to a Grizzly Robot about to target him, so naturally, you bring them down.
As you explore the Tempering Workshop, you’ll realize there’s more to Pascal’s story than meets the eye. This rarely affectionate robot keeps a personal diary in Honkai Star Rail.
As you follow Pascal back to the Robot Settlement and return to the base, it’s time to make a tough decision. What will you make of Pascal’s fate? It’s up to you to choose the right path and make the right decision.
If you answer, “I think we should go with Svarog’s idea,” you’ll format Pascal to rescue him but delete all of his emotional intelligence. The opposite answer keeps his emotional intelligence but will potentially result in its demise.
