As you make it out on your own in Honkai: Star Rail, one of the first missions you’ll have to complete is Road to Revival. As you head out into space for the first time, you will quickly be contacted by Arlan, who desperately needs your help. Between Asia and all the researchers back at Herta Space Station, there is a large need for recruits for Project Revival, and Arlan thinks you’re the person for the job. Keep reading to learn how to complete the Road to Revival mission in Honkai: Star Rail.

One of the first steps you need to take is to head back to the Herta Space Station. Let’s take a look at the different steps you will complete below:

Find Arlan and listen to the space station’s star echo remnants

For this step, you’ll have to travel back to the Herta Space Station to the Control Zone, where you can find Arlan. The best way to do this is to head to Navigation in your menu and then select Master Control Zone. From there, teleport to the Central Passage, the closest fast-travel location to Arlan.

When you arrive, follow the waypoint until you come across Arlan standing next to the dog, Peppy. Speak to Arlan. Arlan will tell you that he wants to improve the Security Department of Herta Space Station and increase their emergency response training. These steps are a part of the Project Revival you have been hearing about.

However, Arlan believes that implementing Project Revival will not be a walk in the park and will require more personnel than what is available. At this point, Arlan will ask you if you would like to help.

Once you agree, Arlan will tell you that he needs you to go to every zone within the Herta Space Station to see if anyone needs help.

Head to the base zone and help the researcher in need

Once you get done talking to Arlan, your next step is to head over to the base zone to see if Abraham needs any help. To do this, you should pull up your Navigation once again. From there, select the Base Zone option on the right, then select the Reception Center Fast Travel point closest to Abraham’s location.

Once you arrive, Abraham will be standing in front of a door, holding his hand over his face and very clearly stressing out over something. Speak to Abraham to find out what he needs you to do.

You will eventually learn that Abraham is petrified with fear and is unable to complete the task at hand. Several monsters are in the area where he needs to carry out his assignment. At this point, you can even ask Abraham if he would like to go with you so you can do it together, but he will refuse, sending you on your way. However, before you go, Abraham will tell you that he needs you to activate the Space Anchor.

Step in front of Abraham and use the Controller to open the door in your way. Once you step into the next room, you will find a couple of weak monsters in your path. There are two Level 7 Antibaryons, along with two Voidranger Reavers. Take them out and carry on into the next room.

Continue to follow the waypoints until you come into a large room with a Space Anchor directly to your left as you enter.

You will likely see the very large enemy toward the front of the room. At this point, it is recommended to level up your characters and use the Space Anchor before heading any further.

When you approach the large enemy, use March 7th’s ability to freeze the enemy before it can ambush you. When you make it into the fight, you will see two Level 13 Flamespawns and a Level 13 Blaze Out of Space, the big enemy. Take the Formidable Foe down in order to carry on in the mission. After you’ve completed the battle, head to the area the Blaze Out of Space was standing in beforehand and collect the Precious Treasure Chest.

Now, head back to Abraham. He will want to know that you have made the Space Anchor operational once again.

Go to the Storage Zone and learn about the revival declared by researchers

When you arrive, follow the waypoint until you find Hinkel. She will tell you that you need to repair the floor through the door to your left. Afterward, you must return when it is fixed, and you have defeated the monsters in the area.

When you head out the door and look to your right, you will find that there is a strange platform on the ground. This platform sits in a gap between the two portions of the floor. As you walk up to it, you will be able to investigate it. You will learn that it is an Unearthly Marvel, and you must complete a puzzle in order to pass by and fix the floor.

Six different blocks will appear in the gap in front of you. You will have to make sure each of them is lit up by walking over them. However, you can only walk over each one a single time. In order to do this correctly, you will have to walk to the platform directly in front of you.

From there, you will turn to the left and walk to the block there. Next, you will step onto the block that is to your right, then the one to your right again. Finally, step onto the last block and complete the platform to fix the floor.

When you make it to the other side of the gap, there will be a few weak enemies waiting for you. Take them out and claim the Precious Treasure Chest in front of you before returning to Hinkel to begin the next step of the mission.

Chat with Wen Shiqi

When you arrive, follow the waypoint straight ahead in order to find Wen Shiqi. You will be told that you need to collect two different pictures. For the pictures, you must head back to the Navigation menu to find the Supply Zone, then travel to the Railway Platform Fast Travel Point.
