To unlock this quest, you’ll first have to unlock the Lucky Clover Gazette, which can be found east of Rito Village. Once you’ve become Penn’s apprentice, head to the Woodlands Stable in Death Mountain and speak to your superior. He’ll be right nearby stable, speaking to a duo of musicians.
Tears of the Kingdom: Serenade to a Great Fairy Guide
This quest aims to take the musicians to the Great Fairy’s bud nearby. She won’t come out in exchange for cash; this time, she wants to hear the sweet sound of violins. Unfortunately, Violynne — the violinist — doesn’t carry a backpack you can grab with Ultrahand and take directly to the Great Fairy.
Instead, the duo will share that they have a cart that helps them travel around, but it’s broken. If only some kind soul would fix their cart and take them to the Great Fairy’s bud, right?
How to Fix the Cart in Serenade to a Great Fairy Guide
Grab two wheels nearby the broken cart with Ultrahand and place them on each side of the rear of the cart. Then, speak to the musical duo again. Now that they’ve fixed the cart, they’ll jump on board. However, the cart isn’t going to move, so you’ll need a horse and a harness.
How to Get a Horse Harness in Tears of the Kingdom
Head inside the stable and look for a ledger on one of the sides of the counter. If you interact with it, the stable owner will exchange three of your Pony Points for a Horse Harness. Now, you can customize your horse outside the stable and equip it with the harness you need to move the cart.
TIP: If you need more Pony Points, consider visiting more stables or registering more horses. Each time you perform one of these actions, you get one Pony Point.
How to Serenade the Great Fairy in Woodland Stable
Attach your horse’s harness to the fixed cart and take the musical duo up the hill. Just be careful. It’s easy to fall off or take the wrong path. But, once you’re near enough, the musical duo will take it from there and play a beautiful duet. The sound of violins playing causes the Great Fairy to emerge from her bud. She’ll ask if she can enhance your armor in exchange for some rupees and materials, and the quest will end.
