“Sugar Rush” is a Dreamlight Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley that involves consuming a large amount of sugar. Such an activity correlates with the Trick-or-treat festivities of Halloween, during which people cosplaying as someone or something else can receive many sugary treats. Similarly, Disney Dreamlight Valley is also engaging in celebrating this festival by adding new Halloween-related rewards that players can receive by completing Dreamlight Duties such as “Sugar Rush.” Accordingly, to complete this Duty, Dreamers will need to understand what kind of foods contain sugar and which ones are the most efficient to use for this challenge.

Completing Sugar Rush in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the “Sugar Rush” Dreamlight Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must eat any meal containing Sugarcane 45 times. While such a feat is not recommended for one’s well-being in real life, eating 45 sugary dishes in Dreamlight Valley will unlock a new Halloween cosmetic item for participants.

There are many dishes that contain Sugarcane in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These include Entrees like Apple Cider Glazed Salmon, Sweet and Sour Kingfish Steak, Tamagoyaki, and Teriyaki Salmon. As one would expect, a host of Desserts require Sugarcane, such as Apple Sorbet, Aurora’s Cake, Banana Split, Beignets, Birthday Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Ice Cream, Sour Snow Cones, and many more. Players can use Candy, a 1-Star Recipe that only mandates a single stack of Sugarcane in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Sugarcane is unlocked relatively early in the game, as it can be purchased from Goofy’s stall on Dazzle Beach. Planting and harvesting this crop is also easy since the growth period only takes 7 minutes. Accordingly, players must harvest 45 Sugarcane and possess 45 chunks of Coal to engage in cooking. Coal is a common resource found in the dirt mounds found throughout the biomes of the Valley. Next, visit any stove and cook 45 pieces of Candy. Consume them all in a single sitting to quickly complete the “Sugar Rush” Dreamlight Duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley. If players would like to be provident with their food consumption, they can instead eat Candy as a means to replenish their Energy and gradually fulfill the Duty over time.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
