Call of Duty: Warzone 2‘s Tactique-Verte Testing DMZ mission may not contain much lore, but it is a valuable tutorial for understanding how weapon platforms work. In this quest, players are tasked with using only Tactique Verte platform weapons on various types of enemies in return for a key and thousands of XP. However, you can use just three weapons during each of its objectives. Here’s how to complete the Tactique-Verte Testing DMZ mission and everything you’ll earn.
What Are Tactique Verte Weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 DMZ?
The Tactique Verte platform in DMZ currently consists of three weapons: the TAQ-56, the TAQ-M, and the TAQ-V. Despite the similar names, these guns are in different weapon categories and have unique attributes. For instance, the TAQ-56 is an assault rifle, whereas the TAQ-M and TAQ-V are slow but powerful Battle Rifles. The TAQ-56 is the first Tactique Verte gun you can obtain, unlocked once you reach Rank 20. Meanwhile, the TAQ-V and TAQ-M can be owned by leveling the TAQ-56 to Levels 11 and 19, respectively.
Being on the same platform, the Tactique Vetre guns can share attachments with each other. Thus, any scopes, lasers, or grips on your TAQ-56 build will be compatible with the TAQ-M and TAQ-V—and vice versa.
Tactique-Verte Testing DMZ Mission Walkthrough
Tactique-Verte Testing is comprised of only two objectives. Firstly, you must eliminate six enemies from a range over 25 meters with Tactique Verte platform weapons. The weapon type will then be used to destroy three armored enemies. Although the first objective can be done almost anywhere, you will likely run into armored enemies inside or around Strongholds.
In sum, we strongly advise players to complete the mission on Al Mazrah. The desert map is large enough to easily capture ranged kills and even bears the most Strongholds and armored enemies. More importantly, each of its named locations is bound to hold loot crates with Tactique Verte weapons inside.
Once you have finished Tactique-Verte Testing, the game will reward you with 5,000 additional XP and a Skeleton Key—the biggest prize of all. Unlike most keys, these can open any locked door in each of the three maps in DMZ. However, you may want to pick your door wisely, as a Skeleton Key can only be used once.
