There are quite a few Penances in Warhammer 40K: Darktide, generally each requiring quite a bit of work, like the Deadeye Penance. Most of the time, you’ll be asked to do very specific tasks, but you could also be tasked with something that seems impossible to accomplish or even be tasked with so many missions that you’re sure you’ll never complete them all. For this Penance specifically, you’ll need to be very careful with which shots you take. Keep reading to learn how to complete the Deadeye Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.
Warhammer 40K Darktide: How to Complete the Deadeye Penance
The Deadeye Penance will ask you to kill 5 different highlighted enemies, landing only weak spot hits while using your weapon’s secondary action on Heresy, which is the fourth difficulty, within a single use of Volley Fire. It seems like quite a bit, right? Don’t worry. It is. To complete this Penance, you’ll want to wait until you’re level 30 or even a bit higher, as it’s pretty difficult to achieve. Not to mention, the feats you can use at Level 30 will refresh your Volley Fire cooldown, which will be absolutely necessary to complete the Deadeye Penance in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.
Once you’ve leveled enough and you’re up to Level 30, it’s important that you pick the right weapon for the job. You’ll want something that can easily hit weak points that you can depend on. Deciding on a single-shot weapon would be a smart path to take, as automatic and burst fire weapons can easily be the difference between hitting your shot and dealing with some nasty recoil. Using a Lasgun for this Penance is recommended.
Warhammer 40K Darktide: Best Deadeye Penance Feat Build
- Level 5 – At Arm’s Length
- Level 10 – Sniper
- Level 15 – Covering Fire
- Level 20 – Camo Expert
- Level 25 – Deadshot or One After Another
- Level 30 – Counterfire
Since this build supports your Volley Fire, it can easily be considered the best for the Deadeye Penance. You can choose one of two different feats for level 25, as both support what you will need for Deadeye. However, when you reach Level 30, it is absolutely required that you choose Counterfire.
