Destiny 2‘s Season of the Wish is finally here, and along with it, a whole slew of new Seasonal Challenges to work on completing each week. In Week 1 of the Season of the Wish, we encounter a challenge called Focused Intention. Many players overlook these challenges, but it’s well worth the time you put into the challenge, as the rewards for it are pretty nice. Not only do you get a huge amount of XP to go toward your Season Pass, but you also get a decent amount of Bright Dust to spend in the Eververse Store.

Focused Intention is the final Seasonal Challenge for Week One of Season of the Wish. The quest requires you to get final blows with weapons using Primary ammo in ritual activities. Additionally, you can earn bonus progress for bow, Hand Cannon, Pulse Rifle, or Auto Rifle final blows or by defeating Guardians in Crucible.

Ritual Activities include any type of Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit matches. For instance, you could complete this challenge by getting final blows with a Hand Cannon like the Last Word in Crucible, or even by taking down some of the always-spawning enemies in a Gambit run. Though, if it were me, I would just sit in the Vanguard Strike playlist for a while. You might not get the most progress toward the challenge, but it’ll be an easy, relaxed process that way.

Once you complete the challenge, you will be rewarded with a nice amount of XP toward your Season Pass rank and some Bright Dust.

Where To Find Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2

There are a couple of different ways that you can find and look at the Seasonal Challenges available during the Season of the Wish.

  1. Access Destinations, then navigate over to the Quests tab.
    • Head over to the Features Quests menu, shown at the top of the boxes on the left-hand side of the screen.
    • Select the Season of the Wish box above your active quests.
  2. Access Destinations, then navigate over to the Season 23 tab.
    • Below the Season Pass rank table, select the Season of the Wish box, just below “Earn Season Ranks.”

Destiny 2 is now available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
