The Holdout MW3 Zombies mission is the way to unlock the Wunderwaffe DG-2 weapon schematic in MWZ. This mission is quite simple, and if you know where to find your objectives, it’ll be done in no time. However, you would need to have the right equipment and be ready for the waves of zombies attacking your way as the undead don’t want you to get your hands on the Wunderwaffe DG-2.
What Are The Objectives of The Holdout Mission in MW3 Zombies?
- Complete an Outlast contract.
- Kill 50 zombies during an Outlast contract.
- Exfil With Wunderwaffe DG-2 schematic.
Despite being a tier 3 MWZ mission, the Holdout assignment isn’t so difficult. I expected a boss fight or some sort of activity in the high-threat zone to gain a legendary weapon blueprint. Instead, all you have to do is to complete an Outlast mission, which can be easily found even in the level 1 threat zone area. After that, you’ll gain the Wunderwaffe DG-2 MWZ schematic and you need to exfil with it to complete the Holdout mission in MW3 Zombies and unlock the wonder weapon.
Where To Find An Outlast Contract
Once deployed, open up your tac map and search for an icon like the one you see in the image above. This is an Outlast contract, and it’ll ask you to defend an area by killing zombies. It’s best if you have your squad with you before starting this contract, and also bring high-level weapons so that you can defend yourself.
One of the best tactics to beat this contract is by setting up mines and claymores on the doors. There’s also the Decoy Grenades that can distract the zombies. Now after you complete this contract, a reward rift will show up and the schematic you’re looking for is right inside it. However, there’s one more objective that you need to checkmark before having an exfil with the schematic.
You need to kill 50 zombies during the contract to accomplish the Holdout mission in MW3 Zombies. This is very simple, and you’ll probably get it done in the first run. But if you’ve got super supportive teammates who defend you by killing the zombies, then you should note that their kills won’t count. You need to kill 50 zombies yourself, and if you don’t have this objective in check by the first Outlast contract, just go for another one.
