In that case, you’ll have to level up that Alohomora Spell! But, alas, it ain’t that simple. Instead, you gotta complete the Man Behind the Moon Side quest. The first leg of this quest demands you to rustle up 9 Demiguise moons to up your lockpicking game to level. It’s like the magical version of a scavenger hunt! So, be prepared to explore every nook and cranny of Hogwarts to find those darn Demiguise statues.
In this guide, you’ll find the locations of the statues that are as elusive as a Niffler’s treasure, locked behind level 2 doors, requiring you to complete the first part of the Man Behind the Moons in Hogwarts Legacy. Don’t forget to channel your inner Sherlock and use the mighty Revelio spell to track them down. And let’s not forget that this hunt can only be undertaken under darkness. So, don your invisibility cloak and venture forth, ye wizards and witches.
If you collect all nine Demiguise Statues, you’ll complete this quest without a hitch:
- There is a tiny vine-covered cottage in the village of Lower Hogsfield, which is below Hogwarts. You’ll find the statue inside the cottage, on the left side of the entrance.
- The second Demiguise statue lies south of Hogwarts, in Keenbridge. You’ll spot the statue in a cottage up the hill on the village’s west side.
- In Brocburrow, pull out your map and look for a Merlin Trial. Across from the trial, you will see a cottage with the statue inside.
- North of Hogwarts lies a cottage with a wheel on the entrance. The statue is located inside. You’re almost halfway through completing the Man Behind The Moons in Hogwarts Legacy.
- In Pitt-Upon-Ford, locate a three-story house near a bridge and head to the third floor where the statue is.
- In Irondale, go southwest of Keenbridge and locate a cottage on a hill to your right, starting from the Floo Flame.
- At the Clock Tower Courtyard’s South Wing, cross the bridge and head down the stairs. Open the level 1 lockpick door.
- In The Great Hall, open the level 1 lockpick door in the back right corner of the room.
- In the Divination Classroom, climb the ladder to the top and look for the statue sitting on the desk.
Now you’ve made it to Alohomora Level 2. You’ll still have 13 more Demiguise statues to collect in the next side quest. Happy hunting!
