On your journey throughout Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will be helping people with all kinds of tasks. In most cases, the main quests will be pretty lengthy, but one in Zora’s Domain is fast if you have the right item on you. There’s a new statue depicting Sidon and Link from Breath of the Wild as they took back the Divine Beast Vah Ruta. However, falling sludge has covered it. Here is how to complete and clean the Sludge Covered Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

To clean the Sludge Covered Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you are going to need to find some Splash Fruit. Luckily, you are in an excellent spot to find them. While the Zora store is currently out of the resource due to the falling sludge, you can find Splash Fruit growing on little bushes in the surrounding area. Keep your eye out for them and pick as many as possible to take care of sludge whenever it gets in the way.

When you have your Splash Fruit, return to Zora’s Domain and go to the statue. Hold R, and Link will pull his arm back to throw his melee weapon. Before letting go, press up on the D-pad and select the Splash Fruit. This will put that item in place of the melee weapon. Aim at the statue and let go to throw it and rinse off the covering sludge. That is all you need to do for this main quest mission in Tears of the Kingdom. Talk to Yona, and you can continue on the Regional Phenomena quests and find Sidon. He is currently away trying to clean a water supply infected by sludge.

Splash Fruits are supposed to be the intended way to clean the Sludge Covered Statue in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. That said, this game lets you complete tasks in any way you can find. If you happen to have a Hydrant Zonai Device, you may be able to douse water on it from that, though we have not attempted it. The important thing is just splashing water on it to reveal Link riding Sidon from the previous game. After you complete the Water Temple, Splash Fruit can be bought from the Zora’s Domain store.
