The Very Lost Nopon is a standard quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed that can be long. It’s not a dangerous quest, but it will take some time to complete if you aren’t sure where to look. Unlike quests such as Tinkering With the X-Reader, you must be prepared for some combat if you accidentally get too close to enemies. You should also be around Level 12 before you take on the quest and invest some Affinity Points. Fortunately, it doesn’t take too much work if you know where to look. Here’s what you must do to complete the quest quickly and without much combat.
How To Start the Very Lost Nopon in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed
You must look for Guguru, a Nopon who is northeast of the Elevator Landing Camp. His position is close to the tree’s base and near the Smothering Andante Unique Monster. Smothering Andante shouldn’t get too close to Guguru, but be careful just in case you get too close. Speak to Guguru, and you will get The Very Lost Nopon quest.
Guguru wants you to look for Babalulu, who got lost somewhere in Aurora Shelf. You can track his position past the Echoes of the Gran Dell Citadel. This will require you to finish the story battle you encounter upon entering the ruins. Head east of the ruins and see the Treehugger Gerald Unique Monster. Look to the left to find a cliff wall, and you can see Babalulu standing near the wall.

Speak to Babalulu, and he wants you to grab some Piranhax meat for his dinner before he returns. Head to Valmor Lake, which is northwest of the Elevator Landing Camp. You can see three Zalmor Piranhax in the water as you approach the lake. They are your targets, and approaching them will throw you into a unique fight. It will just be your party against those three with no interruptions. Don’t worry about fighting in the water; your characters can swim and fight at the same time. There are no special tactics other than fighting them one at a time.
After the battle, you will automatically collect the items you need. Return to Babalulu and then Guguru to complete The Very Lost Nopon.
Continue Your Main Journey After Finishing the Very Lost Nopon
The Very Lost Nopon is likely your last quest to complete before chasing after Glimmer. You can still train and explore as you like, but it’s best to continue with the story and come back later. When you are more powerful, you won’t have to worry about other enemies getting in your way.
If you haven’t started the Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed DLC, now is an excellent time to start and experience Aionios before the events of the main game. It’s also a good time to pick up Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and purchase the Expansion Pass if you haven’t already done so.
