Season 5 brought many new missions into the game, and Thinning the Herd is a Shadow Company Tier 1 mission. This is very easy to complete compared to many other latest faction quests available in the game. So let’s look at how to clear the Thinning the Herd DMZ mission in Warzone.

You can complete the Thinning the Herd DMZ mission by killing 16 Konni Soldiers in three locations, the Vondel and Ashika Island. You must kill five Konni Soldiers in Al Mazrah, six in Vondel, and five in Ashika Island.

Konni Soldiers can be easily identified by their uniforms. They wear black body armor kits with red color bandanas on them. Also, they usually wear red masks, making them easy to identify. You will find Konni Soldiers from the following locations on each map.

  • Al Mazrah: Al Sharim Pass is an excellent location to find Konni Soldiers in Al Mazrah, and Radiation Zones also have plenty of them. In addition, Sarrif Bay and Sa’id City are good locations to find them.
  • Vondel: Look for Konni Soldiers in the high combat zones on this map. You can quickly eliminate six because Shadow Company often has gunfires with them in these zones. But be alerted not to shoot any Shadow Company soldiers since they are friendly. However, if you accidentally kill one for them, they will shoot at you for the rest of the match.
  • Ashika Island: Here, you will not have any problem finding these soldiers since they are almost everywhere on the map.

After killing 16 Konni soldiers in these areas, you will get a weapon Contraband and 5,000 XP as the reward for completing the Thinning the Herd DMZ mission. As mentioned earlier, this mission is easy to finish if you can quickly identify Konni Soldiers and know where to look for them.
