The X-Ray DMZ mission tasks you to get some kills inside the radiation zone. This Season 5 assignment is for the new Shadow Company faction. And the best map to play it on is Al Mazrah. You’ll face the Chemist in this mission and will need a Sniper Rifle to place some accurate shots. Ready for the battle soldier? Let’s get some radiation.
X-Rays DMZ Mission Objectives
- Get 10 kills in radiation with headshots in the 35m range.
The objective is pretty clear. You need to land 10 headshot kills in the radiation zone. When you spawn inside the DMZ maps, look for a yellow circle with a purple sign at its center. This is the radiation zone you’re looking for in the X-Rays DMZ mission. However, this zone is not always filled with enemy operators.
In Ashika Island and Vondel, there are fewer enemy targets inside the radiation zone in DMZ. But if you’re looking for a zone filled with AIs, then Al Mazrah is your best option. The Chemist’s enemy commander is located inside the radiation zone of Al Mazrah. And because of him, there are lots of guards and level 2 units inside the area.
To make things much easier, bring a Sniper Rifle with you. Stay away from enemies and take the high ground to get ready for a shooting contest. Now, hold your breath, and shoot those poor AIs in the head! Try using the Explosive Rounds attachment on your rifle for a one-shot guaranteed kill.
After you get 10 headshot kills from a 35m range in the radiation zone, your X-Rays DMZ mission will be complete. Finishing this assignment rewards you with a key and 5K worth of XP to progress in ranks and a Season 5 Battle Pass.
