If you’ve played any Abiotic Factor at all, then you probably know all about the Coworker and the pesky little bugger that he is. Really, everything’s fine and dandy with him, until you take a bit closer of a look or listen to his various dialogue lines. The Coworker doesn’t just walk around the GATE facility, he actually crawls around on his hands and knees complaining that “We all have larva to feed.” Not weird enough yet? He also steals your things and begs for food. If you feed him, he’ll give your resources back. But how do you actually deal with the Coworker in Abiotic Factor? Let’s check out some ideas.

What To Do When You Encounter the Coworker in Abiotic Factor

The Coworker always shows up when you least expect him to, and almost always at the worst time possible. Now, there are multiple ways to “deal” with the Coworker. You can give into his begging and feed him, you can try to keep him out of your base with barricades or traps, or you can just ignore him until he goes away. Though, I wouldn’t recommend the latter.

If you plan on feeding the Coworker, you’ll need to have quite a bit of food on hand. This guy is pretty needy,, and he won’t just settle for being fed once. To get rid of him, you’ll need to feed him until he’s satisfied enough to go away. I’ve witnessed this happen at five feedings, three feedings, and sometimes even just two. However, you should expect to require at least a couple of food items. If the Coworker has stolen any of your items, he’ll give them back after he’s been fed.

If you want to simply trap the Coworker, you should be prepared to listen to him whine about feeding his larva for quite a while until he finally goes away. The best way to trap him is to build multiple barricades around his position and ensure that he is fully blocked in. This way, he won’t be able to get free.

Now, you can always ignore Abiotic Factor‘s Coworker, but prepared for the creature to develop develop a knack for thievery. The longer you let him wander around unfed, the more he will steal from you. While he doesn’t typically steal anything too valuable, it’s still not the greatest plan.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
