After years of waiting, players worldwide finally have to play the sequel of Breath of the Wild. Zelda’s next installment is out, and there are many new things with it. We have new abilities, cooking recipes, places to explore, and outfits. Yet, most players might find some familiar places and enemies around Hyrule this time. While there are new foes, some old ones make a comeback; this time, you can beat them more creatively. One of the biggest and most terrifying creatures in the game is the Hinox, and today we’ve prepared a guide to tell you how to defeat it in Tears of the Kingdom.
How To Defeat Hinox in Tears of the Kingdom
Hinox is a huge enemy that will give you a lot of trouble if you are unprepared. This enemy hits hard, hits fast, and even if you manage to get a hit, you can go down quickly if you don’t watch its attacks. Thankfully, there is an easy way to defeat Hinox in Tears of the Kingdom, and here we’ll tell you how:
- Gather several bows and arrows
- Face the Hinox and aim at its eye
- Once you hit it, the enemy will fall, giving you time to attack
- Switch to your strongest melee weapon and hit the Hinox hard
- Repeat until you defeat it!
The process is straightforward but requires timing, preparation, and a lot of practice. Thankfully, these enemies are usually alone, but if you manage to aggro other foes, you’re in for a big fight. While the combat in the game isn’t bad, it isn’t the best, either. It can get hectic when fighting many foes simultaneously, and you’ll be looking at the Game Over screen more often than you’d like.
