You can easily defeat the Mad Clown Puppet in Lies of P by retreating to the staircase on the opposite side of the location, where you turn to Rosa Isabelle Street. Once you get into the street, eliminate some flame throwers you find before Mad Clown Puppet approaches you.Â
Shoot at him to do some ranged damage. Whenever he throws a punch at you, make sure to keep enough distance to avoid getting hit. He also has a spinning attack; you must be capable enough to guard them with your perfect guarding skills.
After eliminating the flamethrowers, make your way to the staircase mentioned earlier. The Mad Clown Puppet will follow you there while any other flame thrower will stay behind. Once he gets into the first few steps of the stairs, the wall can block most of his attack. This includes punch throws and spinning attacks, giving you enough time to strike back. However, avoid retreating to the platform’s top since the Mad Clown Puppet will have enough space to attack you.
This strategy is beneficial since you can defeat him even using the basic attacks with the cover of the staircase and wall. However, your perfect guarding skills will be handy if you still like to defeat the Mad Clown Puppet in Lies of P in a conventional manner. You must keep enough distance or do a timely dodge to avoid his punch attacks and guard against any spinning attacks. Usually, he will do two rounds of spinning attacks, after which you’ll have enough time to do a fatal attack on him.
