Probably around Champion Victor, you will get a grip on Lies of P combat mechanics, damage types, and resistance. Until then, we are here to guide you through fights with bosses and mini-bosses. The Atoned in Lies of P is a mini-boss, and if you engage in a fight with her, she can be very irritating, with all that trying to converge your story. Being very quick and jumpy with unpredictable moves, it is easy to take damage from this Stalker, but there is an easy way to defeat the Atoned in Lies of P.

To defeat The Atoned mini-boss in Lies of P, you will want to use a slower weapon with high damage, such as a club or a greatsword. Now, what you need more is to imbue it with fire. This can be done by using the Special Grindstone you got from King’s Flame Fuoco you defeated not so long ago.

When the battle starts dodge any attack that the old lady has for you. Evading is easier than blocking. When she is past you, there will be a massive opening for you to attack with regular and charged attacks.

Speaking of range attacks, you can throw electric charges at this mini boss. Organic enemies are prone to fire and electric damage in most cases.

While all this seems easy, she is very quick and agile. In her many moves, she will throw poison at you. This will inflict a Decay status effect, which can be rather problematic as it will damage your weapon, depleting its durability quickly.

This is why you need to eliminate this mini-boss as quickly as possible to avoid all of this.

How To Avoid the Fight With the Atoned

There is a way to avoid a fight with the Atoned in Lies of P. This Lies of P mini-boss is part of the Stalkers in the game. To be precise, she is part of the Bastards cult of the Stalkers movement. These NPCs can become hostile towards P based on Humanity points and quest progress. Nevertheless, if you have talked to other Stalkers NPCs from the same group, there is a way to avoid the fight by selecting the specific option in the conversation you have learned in your previous encounters.

Once the fight begins, there is no turning back. After you defeat the Atoned in Lies of P, you will receive the Atoned old dog mask and outfit which you can then wear.
