The Puppet of the Future in Lies of P may seem daunting, but this guide will help you conquer this giant robot boss with ease. By following our recommended steps and timing your encounter wisely, defeating the Puppet of the Future will become a piece of cake. A couple of things work to the Puppet of the Future’s advantage: the environment and its massive health pool.

The Puppet of the Future guards a trench of poisonous water, but before you engage in battle, follow the path to progress through the game until you can drain the acid. You might’ve spotted the imposing Puppet of the Future patrolling the area. Still, it’s submerged in corrosive waters that cause Decay. Your top priority is to drain that pool before engaging in combat, or you’ll be in trouble. Avoid fighting it prematurely, as this will make the boss fight much easier.

Once you’ve reached the point in the game where you can drain the acid, do so immediately. This will prevent losing precious health during the boss fight against the Puppet of the Future in Lies of P and give you a significant advantage.

This leaves us only with one issue: the boss has a hefty health pool. To deplete it quickly, equip Pinocchio with powerful weapons and speed up the fight. High-damage weapons, like the Greatsword of Fate, will make a noticeable difference.

When facing the Puppet of the Future, stay close to its legs. This strategy is effective because the boss primarily uses a wrecking ball attack that is easily avoided by staying in this proximity. The only attack you should watch out for while camping under its legs is the Puppet of the Future’s stomp.

All things considered, the boss has limited attack patterns, making its mechanics quite predictable. Look out for leg raises and dodge accordingly. The wrecking ball attack can be sidestepped, so don’t panic and keep your cool.

Although the boss fight is relatively straightforward, don’t neglect your health. Keep an eye on your HP and use healing items when necessary. Watch for the white marker on its HP bar as you chip away at the Puppet of the Future in Lies of P health. When it appears, deal as much damage as possible to secure victory.
