Glimmet is a rare Rock- and Poison-type pocket monster in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that evolves into Glimmora once a certain condition has been met. Trainers can encounter this creature in multiple locations across the map, but they specifically inhabit the hollows of caves and other underground passageways. Popular spots to find a Wild Glimmet would be the Alfornada Cavern in Area Six of the South Province. Some players have also had luck in encountering this rare pocket monster within the narrow cavern near the Pokémon Center within the Dalipaza Passage of Glaseado Mountain.

Evolving Glimmet into Glimmora in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
To evolve Glimmet into Glimmora in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must level Glimmet up to Level 35, after which it will automatically transform into Glimmora. This leveling process can be conducted using EXP Candy or the traditional procedure of capturing and battling dozens of pocket monsters with Glimmet in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

The EXP Candy method is a much faster and more efficient means of leveling Glimmet to Level 35. According to Prima Games, the two primary sources of EXP Candy are Tera Raiding and open-world foraging. Participating in Tera Raids is always profitable, regardless of drop. The loot received is almost always worthwhile and practical for Trainers to use on their adventure in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. However, Raiding does require strategy and can be challenging for those unacquainted with difficult pocket monster battles in the Pokémon franchise. Nevertheless, having one or more friends to help will undoubtedly be a boon for grinding Tera Raids and farming EXP Candy. Alternatively, foraging for EXP Candy is less rewarding than Tera Raids but is a much more relaxing process for those who enjoy the open-world exploration of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Needless to say, the more traditional approach of grinding battles and monster catching for leveling Glimmet does not require any explanation. Catching pocket monsters is something that Trainers will constantly do throughout their playthroughs. Therefore, players are encouraged to engage with Tera Raids or go exploring for EXP Candy instead of grinding levels to evolve Glimmet into Glimmora in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
