Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth doesn’t require much of a tedious grind like you find in some other action RPGs. Even so, you don’t want to neglect the likes of XP and Gil. Sure, you gain it naturally, but sometimes it helps to give those aspects some attention. There are a few ways you can farm XP and Gil in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to help you level up faster and have enough money to cover anything you need. This way, you can return to enjoying everything in this exciting world.
Quick Gil and XP Farm in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Gil, AKA money, is always a necessity. You need it for consumables, materia, and improved gear. For our Queen’s Blood players, currency is a must-have to gain stronger cards. So, how do you get a steady supply of Gil? You can do a few things, in fact:
- Combat Assignments/Fiend Intel
- Side Quests
- Combat Simulator
Combat Assignment Fiend Intel Farm
Combat Assignments are available in all six regions, and they’re a helpful way to farm XP and Gil alike. They will see you face down fiend battles with some being stronger and offering better rewards over others. Plus, you can return to them as often as you’d like. It’s one of the best ways to farm in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
XP gains are truly impressive here. For instance, in the Nibel Region, defeating the Gluttonous Devourer (Fiend Intel 2) will give you more than 3000 XP. The Mean Green Mother (Fiend Intel 2) in the Gongaga Region also offers a high amount.
Likewise, you can farm plenty of Gil with this tactic in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. These battles should provide you with around or over 1000 Gil. Again, you can repeat the process and come away with a bag full of currency and XP before you move on through the chapters.
Of course, all of this only works if your characters are strong enough to handle the battles. This is how XP and Gil overlap with each other. The more Gil you earn, the better weapons and materia you can buy. That enhanced gear can ensure you come out on top in battles, thus allowing you to face down stronger opponents for more XP and currency rewards.
Side Quests Farm for Gil and XP in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Never neglect side quests. Not only can they beef up the story even more, but they reward well. Of course, you get a reward from the quest itself. However, you can also score more XP and Gil in the quests that need you to defeat enemies. They’re not all combat-related though, yet they still reward well. It’s an ideal way to move the story along and beef up your supplies at the same time.
Combat Simulator Farm For XP
The Combat Simulator serves as a better XP farm rather than Gil one in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. This is because it acts much like battling out in the open world, but better. You won’t encounter a host of enemies just waiting to attack you as you run around. Of course, you’ll notice some, but it’s not enough to give you dramatic boosts in XP. That’s where the Combat Simulator can come in handy.
Much of what you do in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will reward you with Gil, XP, or both, but having a farm to fall back on never hurts. Keep in mind that you can focus on three areas:
- Fiend Intel battles throughout each region
- Exploring all side quests
- Diving into the Combat Simulator
Each of these can easily stuff your bag full of experience and currency. And we all know how invaluable no matter what chapter you’re in.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is available on PC.
