Your character will have to make new friends with whom they will overcome many battles and difficulties along the way. And exploring the vast world, you will definitely want to speed up travel. Baldur’s Gate 3 has a large number of different quests. By completing them, you can progress through the story, find new allies, or discover the secrets of the Forgotten Realms. Therefore, you have to return quite often to locations you have already been to. At first, this will allow you to better explore the world, but after a few hours, you will want to move between quests as fast as possible. However, Baldur’s Gate 3 will only allow you to fast travel to certain locations, namely the Ancient Rune Circles.

Ancient Rune Circles are runic pictures that you can find throughout the game world. They are fast travel points you can travel for free. But first of all, you need to unlock these Rune Circles.

How To Unlock Ancient Rune Circles in Baldur’s Gate 3

Luckily, you can do this very easily. Just walk up to Rune Circles to unlock the new waypoint. Therefore, you need to carefully explore each location in the game. After that, this Ancient Rune Circle will be added to your fast travel list. Also, in this list, you can find the Camp.

To fast travel in Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to click on the wing button to the right of your minimap. Then, select one of the available waypoints to fast travel there. It is especially useful when your party has used a lot of abilities and they need a long rest. Just move to the camp and rest to restore strength and all your abilities.
