Remnant 2 is a large game with several areas to explore. Once you touch the World Crystal, you get access to various new environments. It’s a large game with many places to explore, and you want to ensure you don’t spend too much time traveling. While exploring areas for the first time is nice, you eventually want to travel to dungeons quickly. You don’t want to get caught up in unnecessary travel, especially if you are playing on a hard difficulty. If you know how to fast travel, that makes exploration significantly more manageable. Here’s how you fast-travel in Remnant 2.

How Fast Travel Works In Remnant 2

For fast travel to work, you must have found two checkpoints. One will be available shortly after your game becomes available for multiplayer. There will always be a return location to Ward 13, your main hub. Other locations will vary, but you will build them up as you explore. Once you have multiple checkpoints to travel to, start by interacting with the checkpoint crystal. It will allow you to choose which areas you want to go to after healing you. It won’t appear when searching for locations if you haven’t unlocked the area or forgot to interact with the checkpoint.

Decide which world you want to travel to and the specific location you have in mind. Confirm your choice, and you will fast travel there immediately. There will not be any enemies surrounding you when this happens, allowing you to gather your bearings. If fast traveling with other players, you must wait for them before you can fast travel.

If you are trying to earn as much experience as possible, it might be better to forgo fast travel and fight enemies along the way. You can refill your ammo stocks and gain a little experience or some nice items. If you are in a hurry or don’t feel like wasting time, fast traveling to a checkpoint is the better option. You always have access to the World Stone in case you must go back to Ward 13.

As you unlock more worlds, conserving your resources is more critical. Fast traveling ensures you get to your locations as healthy as possible. Once you unlock several locations, it would be folly to forgo fast travel and walk everywhere. Use it a few times, and you won’t be able to go without it.
