Traveling through the colorful expanses of Palia, you will find more than 80 unique species of fish, but finding the habitats of something like the Albino Eel is hard. Even though it is just a Common fish, the Albino Eel is well hidden from the fishermen and is not found in most bodies of water in both game regions. But there is a clear clue in its name. Being albino, this fish is sensitive to sunlight and cannot swim in open areas. Caves are the best place to search, but we are here to tell you about all the nuances.
Where To Find Palia Albino Eel
Albino Eel is found exclusively in cave reservoirs and never swims to surface waters. You can find this fish in Bahari Bay and Kilima Valley, but only in these two places. First, you can visit a small cave north of Kilima Village near Phoenix Falls. Or you can go to the Pavel Mines in central Bahari Bay southeast of Flooded Fortress.
Both caves have several small bodies of water, and neither gives you an increased chance of encountering Albino Eel. So, choose based on personal preference, but don’t forget to fish in places with ripples in the water to increase your chances of a Quality catch.
As for fishing times, you can fish Albino Eel at any time. Living in the dark cave waters, these creatures have long forgotten the differences between day and night and swim whenever they want.
How To Catch Albino Eel
Now that you know where and when to look for this fish, you should learn how to catch it. However, there is nothing complicated here. Being a Common fish, this fish will not resist much when you pull it out of the water. Makeshift Rod will be enough for you, but at the same time, having a higher-level fishing rod or accessories will make your fishing much faster.
As for bait, you should use Worm before you cast your line. Albino Eel’s eyes are sensitive to light, so the Glow Worm is more likely to scare it away. However, this also means that you will not be able to catch this fish until you reach at least fishing level 4.
How To Use Albino Eel in Palia
Albino Eel is not the most valuable type of fish in Palia, but you can use it in the following ways:
- Sell for 35 Gold or 52 Gold if you get the Quality version.
- Give it as quest items or gifts to some NPCs.
- Place this fish in the aquarium as a pet.
To sum it up, here’s what you need to know about how to get Albino Eel in Palia:
- Location: Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay (Caves)
- Fishing Time: Any Time
- Bait: Worm
Palia is now in Open Beta and will be released on PC and the Nintendo Switch.
