The Season of the Seraph has introduced a mechanical Dog called “Good Boy Protocol,” and it is not an easy task to find it. This guide will tell you how to find and pet the Mechanical Dog In Destiny 2.

What is the Mechanical Dog In Destiny 2?

When you try to complete the operation Seraph Shield mission, you might find the mysterious door that is locked and needs coordinates to open it. When the season started, there was no clue to open this door. However, after some time, players learned that it is connected to 52  security drones scattered over various places on the map.

You need to destroy these Security Drones to open this door. You will find the mechanical Dog, or “Good Boy Protocol,” as it is known, inside the door. Activating this Dog will give you two triumphs, Best Friend Triumph and Pet the Dog Triumph, which is required for the Season of the Seraph Title.

How To Get and Pet The Mechanical Dog In Destiny 2?

Mechanical Dog In Destiny 2

You can get and pet the Mechanical Dog In Destiny 2 by opening the Mysterious Door in the Seraphshield mission and completing the few tasks inside the door. Here are the steps you need to follow.

  1. Destroy all 52 security drones to open the Mysterious door in the Seraph Shield mission. The door is in the room where you meet Haroktha in operation Seraph Shield.
  2. Once you get inside, you will see some Laser beams that you need to use your sword to bypass.
  3. Then complete the puzzle by shooting symbols on the wall to unlock the next area. A new door will open, and you will find a maintenance area.
  4. Navigate through this area and defeat some enemies until you find a dark room. The mechanical Dog is waiting for you in there.
  5. Approach the Dog and see a Notice “Activate the Good Boy protocol.” Activate the Dog, and it will disappear, and you will receive the, Best Friend, Triumph.
  6. Go to the H.E.L.M., and you will see the Dog is waiting in there, lying on some pillows. Activate it again, and you will receive the  Pet the Dog Triumph.
