Among the many sea creatures and fish, finding Clione in Dave The Diver can be tough to figure out. This is a mission that goes beyond simple collecting, as it requires diving deep into the ocean and encountering some hazards. Things can get dangerous in the blink of an eye, and creatures such as a Hermit Crab and a Giant Squid may pop out all of a sudden. So, prepare yourself for an adventure, here is how to find and beat Clione in Dave The Diver.
Where To Get Clione in Dave The Diver
To get Clione in Dave The Diver, you will first have to serve Maki, a special customer in Bancho’s restaurant. After you do, she will give you a Bug Net to capture small sea creatures. In this case, she will give you a quest to get 5 Cliones, which are special creatures for her. This is because he has a very cute Clione Plushie gifted by her father. For that reason, she wishes to see a real one in person.
Before you depart, be sure to upgrade your Diving Suit to at least level 4 along with your Air Tank using the iDiver app. You’ll need it since Cliones are only found in the 130 to 250m depth range. This could take you more than one dive, but just be sure to identify the Cliones as semi-transparent blue shining creatures. They are small, so keep an eye out for them. Use the Bug Net to catch the Clione. Once you collect the fifth one, you will be good to go, or so you may think.
How To Beat Clione Queen in Dave The Diver
As soon as you collect the fifth and final Clione, you will teleport to an enclosed location. You will now have to face the Clione Queen. Remember how Clione were small and harmless? The Clione Queen is the absolute opposite: she is huge and deadly. She has two moves. The first will have her attempt a melee attack on you by moving toward you. The second one will be a venom attack which will have the Clione Queen fire a green projectile that will explode and make that area toxic.
To defeat the Clione Queen in Dave The Diver, you will have to fire all you have at your disposal toward her head. Landing headshots will deal double damage and will ultimately make the Clione Queen angrier, moving faster and firing multiple venom shots. If you need a damage boost, the chest in the sand below will gift you a Red Sniper Rifle, a powerful weapon. Continue landing headshots and avoiding the Clione Queen’s melee and range attacks and you will defeat her in no time.
After defeating the Clione Queen in Dave The Diver, she will drop a sort of photo frame. Collect it and then surface. You will be able to get back to Maki to show her the Clione and the photo frame. We will not spoil what happens next, but it is really heartwarming. After the cute moment, Maki will join Bancho as a worker, with a great cooking stat. Assign her to the kitchen to optimize it and continue growing your Sushi restaurant.
