This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

One landmark you will need to find during your adventures in Hogwarts Legacy is Falbarton Castle, a POI located within the Hogsmeade Valley. Whether you are looking for this location for exploration’s sake or for completing “The High Keep” with Natsai, knowing where this castle is located can be helpful in progressing your journey as a student witch or wizard. The Falbarton Castle grounds are also where you can discover two Merlin Trials, a nearby Treasure Vault, and an Infamous Foe. An Ancient Magic Hotspot also sits slightly to the east of the fort.

Falbarton Castle Map Location in Hogwarts Legacy

As noted above, you can find Falbarton Castle in Hogsmeade Valley of Hogwarts Legacy. More specifically, the location of the castle is in the eastern corner near the mountain border to the right of Hogsmeade. The nearest fast-travel point on the way to the fort is the East Hogsmeade Valley Floo Flame.

While there is no problem with walking or running to Falbarton Castle on foot, flying on your Broom in Hogwarts Legacy is the ideal way to traverse from Point A to B. Therefore, an optimal travel path would be to fast travel to Upper Hogsfield, a Floo Flame north of Hogsmeade, and fly on your broom to Falbarton Castle. If you are visiting this location during “The High Keep” with Natsai, remember that the area will be “red” on the minimap, meaning that you are exploring an area “off-limits” to Hogwarts students. In such a place, NPCs will attack you on sight, so be sure to have your best Spells equipped, or you can use Disillusionment to slip past your foes.

If you are more interested in the POIs outside of Falbarton Castle in Hogwarts Legacy, YouTuber WoW Quests has made an excellent video guide revealing where the location’s two Merlin Trials can be found and how to access them. Remember to bring along two stacks of Mallowsweet Leaves, as they are essential for activating the puzzles of the Trials. Without them, you will not be able to clear the Trials or receive the XP reward from their completion.
