Sons of the Forest is the sequel to the popular survival horror Forest, which was released back in 2014. The game has a big fandom and sold over 2 million copies in 24 hours. Like every survival game, it is important to have the best items and weapons at your disposal. So here is the guide on how to find the powerful Compound Bow in Sons of the Forest.

How to Find the Compound Bow in Sons of the Forest

Sons of the Forest is filled with different weapons that you can either find or craft yourself. Among the many ranged weapons you can carry, the Compound Bow is among the most powerful.

To get the Compound Bow first, you have to go to the western half of the map. Check the image below to know where you should go exactly. This weapon is located in a bunker, so you have to dig up the ground to gain access to it.

Select the shovel from your inventory once you’ve got there and start digging the soft ground in front of the car. After digging for a little while, you will find the trapdoor that leads to the bunker.

Once you’ve got into the bunker, you will have to navigate through a long corridor with a bunch of doors leading to different rooms. After you’ve entered the bunker, enter the first room on your right side.

Once you’ve got inside, there is a Silencer attachment if you need it. But the reason you came here to this room is to go to the washroom. In there, you will see a dead boy near the bathtub and, next to the body, the Compound Bow that you’ve been looking for.

Once you’ve got the bow, go back the same way you came in and exit the bunker. Although you can check other rooms for more materials and items, but apart from the Compound Bow, there isn’t any more important item.

Sons of the Forest is now available only for PC.
