Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Excavation Site Location
To locate the Excavation Site in Assassin’s Creed (AC) Mirage, you must travel southwest from the Abbasiyah area to the edge of the game map. Along the way, you will find a small oasis in the middle of small rocks and even unlock another Viewpoint. But your goal lies a little further. Continue walking southwest from the oasis until you reach the desired location.
It is worth noting that the piece of map that you received from Hamid is much more detailed than it seems at first glance, and all the landmarks are very obvious. We do not exclude that many players could not find this map in the in-game menu or forgot about it. If so, here’s how you can use the map leading to the Excavation Site in AC Mirage:
- To begin, open the character menu and go to the Investigation tab.
- Select the Excavation Site icon and click View Details.
- Having opened a detailed description of the location, click on the map icon in the lower-left corner of the screen, after which you will open the Excavation Site map.
As we said earlier, the right place is near the river southwest of the Abbasiyah district. However, since the areas in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are relatively vast, do not forget to use Enkidu to find the exact coordinates.
What You Can Find in Excavation Site
Once you reach the Excavation Site, your quest goal is a small chest hidden behind a secret door. So go to the southeastern part of this location. Next, you only need to find a small cabinet with stones and move it to get to the secret chest with the quest item. In addition, this location is full of simpler chests with pleasure rewards, so don’t miss them. And so as not to worry about enemies, you can hire mercenaries near the Excavation Site for one Power Favor Token. They are located on the outskirts of the Excavation Site and watch it from above.
