Hogwarts Legacy: How to Find the Helm of Urtkot
First, you’ll need to head out to find Lodgok. He can be found at the Hog’s Head in Hogsmeade. Head outside of the Three Broomsticks and to the West. You can find the Hog’s Head pictured below.
Once you head inside the Hog’s Head, you will find Lodgok sitting at a table by himself on your left-hand side. Walk up to Lodgok and speak to him. He will ask you why he should trust you, to which you should respond by talking about how Sirona Trusts you. Lodgok will decide to trust you and ask you to obtain a relic for him, a relic that is sacred to Goblins, the Helm of Urtkot. Afterward, you will have to follow Lodgok to the Witch’s tomb.
Now, you’ll need to navigate through the Collector’s Cave and find the Helm of Urtkot. There will be quite a few puzzles to solve, so pay attention.
Room #1
As you enter the first room, there will be a puzzle that you must solve that involves moths. As in the Like a Moth to a Frame Side Quest, you will have to cast your Lumos Spell to attract the Moth and take it where you need it to be. In this case, you will be collecting the Moth and taking it to the door in order to unlock it. In the first room, two of the Moths are already in place, so you only have to move one of them.
Room #2
This room will have another Moth Puzzle door for you to unlock. However, this one doesn’t have any of the moths already in place, so you must replace all of them within the door. Two of these Moths are found in the same room and can easily be placed in the door, so get those out of the way first using your Lumos Spell.
The third Moth will be behind some metal doors that you can find in the room. Use your Depulso Spell to open the doors and collect the third Moth. Place the Moth in the door and head into the 3rd room.
Room #3
As you approach Room #3, you’ll find that it’s been infested with Inferius. Defeat them using fire-based spells and head to the next room.
Room #4
This room has another Moth Puzzle, but it will be a bit difficult, as there is a new element added into this room. You will find a strange mechanism that’s shaped like one of the moths in the center of the room. If you look at the mechanism, you’ll see that it has a moth-shaped space in the front of it, just like the locked Moth Puzzle Doors. Grab one of the Moths from inside the room with your Lumos Spell and take it to the mechanism.
Place the other moth that can be found in the room in the door, then head over to the platform that can be seen just below the third moth. Using your Depulso Spell, hit the mechanism so that the platform raises up, giving you access to the third moth. Using Lumos, grab the moth and take it back down to the door, then grab the moth out of the mechanism to unlock the door. Head into the next room.
Room #5
When you walk into the fifth room, you’ll see a crate hanging above a gate in the ground. Hit the crate, knocking it down and opening up the grate below for you to jump down. Jump through the hole and head into Room #6.
Room #6
This is the room that holds the final Moth Puzzle door, and it’s definitely a tricky one to figure out. There will be two moths on the ground level of this room, and 2 more hidden on a raised area in the room that you can’t access.
Take one of the moths and put it into the mechanism in the center of the room. Put the other moth on the pedestal directly to the right of the Moth Puzzle Door on the ground floor. Head up onto the platforms and hit the Mechanism twice in a row quickly to raise the platforms all the day, then cast Lumos to grab the Moth to the left of the door. Run over to where the door is and put the Moth in place. Next, grab the moth sitting on the pedestal on the ground floor from the ledge near it without jumping back down. Put it into the door, then move the final Moth to the door in order to unlock it, which can be found right next to the door in the same area.
Head into the final room and collect the Helm of Urtkot.
Final Room
Here, you’ll find the witch’s grave, along with the body of an Ashwinder.
Head back to Lodgok and tell him what happened. He will send you to a bandit camp, where you must defeat a Troll and a handful of enemies in order to collect the Helm of Urtkot from a chest. Then, return to Lodgok, and you will have completed the Quest.
