With the arrival of A Rift In Time DLC, the animal world of Disney Dreamlight Valley has been replenished with many new inhabitants. And while some players try to make friends with the Capybaras, others are looking for new ingredients for cooking. Of course, a Scorpion may seem like a dubious ingredient, but once you cook it, you will receive an excellent energy and income source. Fortunately, this dangerous creature will not harm players, and you can easily catch it in the desert biome. And we are here to help you and tell you where to find and use Scorpion in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

First, it is worth noting that Scorpion is an exclusive ingredient for the A Rift In Time DLC. So you must buy an expansion to find and use this rare creature.

To find Scorpion in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must go to Eternity Isle and get to the Glittering Dunes biome. Unfortunately, this creature does not crawl on the surface of the sand but hides under it. More precisely, Scorpions, like Sand Worm, live exclusively in quicksand (image above), and you will have to do a little fishing to get them.

Quicksand fishing is a new mechanic for Disney Dreamlight Valley, but the process is no different from traditional fishing. All you need to do is get to the Plains, Wastes, or Borderlands areas in the Glittering Dunes biome and cast your fishing rod into the blue ripples. Next, wait a little and take your catch. By the way, if you want to increase your catch, you can invite a valley resident with a high level of Fishing role, just like during traditional fishing.

Once you catch a Scorpion, you can eat it raw to restore 900 Energy or sell it for 425 Star Coins. The high price and energy value make raw Scorpion superior to some dishes. But if you want to unleash the full potential of this delicious ingredient, you should use it in some new recipes.
