There’s nothing you can do with Diablo 4 requiring constant internet connection and online access. From time to time, you might experience some login issues with error codes (sometimes without) along with long queue times. What we can do is try to explain their nature and offer some possible solutions. Here’s how to fix Diablo 4 login issues, from error codes to long queue times.

[Updated on September 5, 2024 – Added Diablo 4 error codes and possible solutions]

Diablo 4 error codes typically indicate server issues, as the game relies on constant online connectivity. Common problems include server congestion, maintenance, or updates that disrupt gameplay.

Diablo 4 Error Code/Problem/Login IssuesDescription & Solution
Long Queue TimeLikely due to overwhelmed servers or too many players; don’t leave the queue.
Error Code 75Authentication issue; update the game to the latest version and restart your device if needed.
Error Code 30008“Request timeout” due to server overload; restart the game or Battle.Net.
Error Code 300202Occurs during busy periods; rejoin the queue or restart the game to reconnect.
Error Code 315306License validation error; wait for full launch or ensure you have the correct game version.
Error Code 316005No available character slots; delete an existing character to create a new one.
Error Code 316719Lost server connection due to high strain; restart the game and rejoin the queue.
Error Code 34200/34202Server availability error; check for Blizzard maintenance announcements.
Error Code 34203Battle.Net authentication issue; restarting the game can help resolve it.
Error Code 395002Account locked due to server congestion; restarting the game usually resolves the issue.
Error Code 396022Server ping or instability issues; restart the game and check your internet connection.
Error Code 401003Triggered by network disconnects; reboot the game or Battle.Net to fix it.

Some problems might simply be due to the start of a new season. Too many players trying to log in might tax the servers too much. When that happens, there’s not much you can do but wait either for Blizzard’s statement or the servers to stabilize.
