Traveling across Vermund and Battahl can be a perilous journey in the highly-anticipated Dragonโs Dogma 2. It is a long, arduous affair crossing the massive open world, and while itโs great to explore on foot, hitching a ride is one of the gameโs options. The Oxcart is one such mechanic, a slow taxi between villages and cities, but itโs still vulnerable to attacks. Hereโs how to flip and fix an overturned Oxcart in Dragonโs Dogma 2!
How to Flip An Oxcart in Dragonโs Dogma 2
Simply walk up to an overturned Oxcart, and hold โBโ or โCircleโ to flip it in Dragonโs Dogma 2.

For the Halo fans out there, yes, itโs taking a page out of the Warthog userโs manual. It also means that the baseline strength for any playable vocation is enough to flip an entire cart. Even mages are Hulk-strong in this universe, and thatโs a scary thought.
When Do Oxcarts Get Overturned in DD2?
This can happen during any point of an Oxcart journey, theyโll often be overturned when a large monster attacks. These are difficult to predict, but can roughly happen every ~1-3 journeys when you choose the โdoze offโ option. You can prevent this inconvenience by kiting enemies away from it, drawing its aggro into a more open space. Itโs a worthwhile risk in exchange for a reliable means to get between cities in the game.

Iโve experienced the overturned cart situation several times, with at least one instance where the cart was outright destroyed. Itโs inconvenient when overturned but serves as a good signal to drive the combat away from your vehicle. If youโre not careful, itโs a long walk back to the city, especially if you donโt have any ferry stones.
Alternately, if youโre desperate, donโt forget that if you die, you can choose to respawn at your last inn rest. This is a last resort though, as that would mean lost progress.
