The Pickup is one of the early missions in Cyberpunk 2077. You can’t skip it because it’s one of the game’s main story gigs, but it’s a very entertaining one. In this mission, Dex asks you to pick up a bot from All Foods Factory, a Flathead model MT0D12. In this mission, you also learn that Brick, who you thought was dead, is actually not but instead held captive. Also, you can get really cool weapons from this quest. Let’s take a look at how to free Brick in The Pickup mission in Cyberpunk 2077 and what Brick’s door code is.

There are multiple ways to complete The Pickup mission in Cyberpunk 2077. You can enter the Maelstrom gang house location by opening fire directly, or you can try to solve the problem by talking it out like an RPG player. When you enter, you’ll be greeted by Royce, the boss of the Maelstrom, and he’s a powerful fellow.

You can deal with Royce in a few different ways. You can go peacefully with The Pickup mission and pick up the Flathead model MT0D12. However, if you go the peaceful route, you won’t be able to free Brick in Cyberpunk 2077. You will have to go on the offensive to save Brick. We should also remind you that if you want to settle this peacefully, you have to give Royce 10,000 credits. Then you can kill Royce and get your money back from his corpse.

How To Rescue Brick in Cyberpunk 2077

After fighting the Maelstrom gang, you’ll find two glass-walled rooms in the All Foods Factory. And you’ll see a locked door in the middle of them. Behind this door, you’ll find Brick waiting for you to set him free in Cyberpunk 2077.

If you want to open this locked door, you can use the Brick door code in Cyberpunk 2077, 9691. Alternatively, you can open the door with Remote Deactivation from quick hacks. But before you can do that, you need to defuse the bomb next to Brick. So, follow the steps below carefully:

  1. After fighting the Maelstrom gang, find two rooms with glass walls.
  2.  Then, enter the room on the right before trying to open the Brick’s room, and you will see a Detonator on the table to the left of the door.
  3.  You need to disarm this Detonator to save Brick. To do this, pick up the Detonator and select the “Disarm charge” option.
  4.  Then, you can use Brick’s door code “9691” in Cyberpunk 2077 to open the room or hack the door to enter Brick’s side.
