Maxima Potion is one of the many potions you can brew or buy inย Hogwarts Legacy. Using Maxima Potion will increase spell damage which will come in handy on many occasions. There is also a quest where you have to get a Maxima Potion.
As part of Professor Sharp’s Assignment, you have to get him a Maxima Potion. There are two ways you can get this potion. You can either buy it or brew it yourself.
If you just want to get Sharp’s Assignmnet complete, it is best to just buy a Maxima Potion for 300 Galleons. You can buy this potion at J. Pippins Potions in Hogsmeade. He will always sell this item, so you can buy more later if you needed.
But if you want to use this potion in the future and frequently, it is best to buy its recipe. You can get the recipe from J. Pippins Potions as well, but for 500 Galleons.
Once you’ve bought the recipe, you will need 1 Leech Juice and 1 Spider Fang in order to brew Maxima Potion. After gathering those items, find yourself a Scientific Potion Station and then you can brew it as much as you want as long as you have enough material.
In case you have a difficult time finding Leech Juice and Spider Fang, we suggest looking for Leech Juice in the water Northwest of Hogwarts and Jackdaw’s Grave to kill some enemies as they drop Spider Fang.
Once you’ve got the potion, you can use it in battles. Also don’t forget to bring some back to Professor Sharp, if you haven’t completed his assignment yet.
