Want to know how to get a Timeworn Crimson Horn in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak? Among the many innovations added to the game with the addition of Sunbreak, everyone can find something for themselves. For some, this is exploring new locations, others are interested in battles, and someone wants to create several sets of new powerful gear. If you belong to the third type, you should read our guide. You need valuable and rare items to craft powerful equipment.

How to Get a Timeworn Crimson Horn in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Most items for crafting equipment can be obtained by killing some kind of monster. Considering the gameplay of the game, this is not surprising, and the item that we will talk about today will not be an exception.

The Timeworn Crimson Horn is a rare item that can be obtained in two ways:

  • You can capture the Daimyo Hermitaur and get the Timeworn Crimson Horn with a 10% chance. It is worth noting that it is difficult to catch the beast, so this method is not the best.
  • You can break the powerful Daimyo Hermitaur armor. It is not to say that doing this is much easier than in the previous method, but the chance of getting the desired item is 90%.

In the first method, everything is more or less clear, but the second one can lead inexperienced players into a stupor.

You have to do is attack the shell with blunt, heavy weapons to break the shell. It is best to use Hammer or Hunting Horn. Then dodge the monster’s attacks and try to hit the shell. After a while, the armor will break, and you’ll get a Timeworn Crimson Horn if luck.

By the way, no matter which method you choose, you will have to fight the Daimyo Hermitaur of the Master level. We advise you to attack him only as part of a team since it is difficult to defeat him alone.

Once you get one or more Timeworn Crimson Horns, you can craft a good and rare Daimyo Hermitaur set. Despite its rustic appearance, this is a powerful piece of equipment it will help you in any further battles. Therefore, we advise you to try to get this set as quickly as possible despite the complexity of the task.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
