Want to know how to get a Walleye in Disney Dreamlight Valley? You always need to find something, get something or cook something to advance the story in Disney Dreamlight Valley. And besides the usual searches among the trees, you will often have to fish. No matter where you fish, you can always get some Seaweed, but everything else needs to be found in different biomes and during definite weather conditions. In addition, some materials are more difficult to obtain due to their rare spawn, but even against their background, Walleye seem to be rarer. Our guide is here to help you and tell you how to get a Walleye in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Get a Walleye in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To get a Walleye in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must travel to the Sunlit Plateau biome. This biome is not open at the beginning of the game, and you will have to go through some part of the story to get there. You can open the passage to Sunlit Plateau directly from the Plaza, but to destroy the Night Thorns, you must spend 7000 Dreamlight.

Once you get to Sunlit Plateau, take your Fishing Rod and start fishing in the river in the middle of the region. To get a Walleye in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you don’t have to wait for the right weather or time of day. You can fish at any moment, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get a Walleye. Sounds simple, but it’s a little more complicated. Firstly, the chance that Walleye will bite on your Rod is negligible, which means that to get one, you may have to fish for more than an hour in real-time.

But a much bigger problem is that you may not be able to catch Walleye at all. At the moment of publication of this guide, the game is having a problem with this type of fish. To be more precise, it may seem to you that the spawning of this type of fish is disabled, and perhaps it is. In this case, you will not be able to get Walleye until the developers fix this error.

But luckily, you can get Walleye differently. All you need for this – level up the Moana boat to the maximum. Thanks to this boat, you can get some different fish without any effort. And if you’re lucky, one of those fish will be a Walleye.
