Despite the exciting storyline and many mechanics for comfortable space exploration, resource farming is equally integral to the gameplay. By buying or mining various materials, you can sell them, use them to create weapons, or upgrade your outpost, and Adhesive is one of them. You can easily find this material from some vendors in most major trading hubs, and this method is not without advantages if you need very little. But production or farming is probably more efficient. However, the decision is yours, and we are only here to tell you about all the ways of getting Adhesive in Starfield.

Starfield: All Ways To Get Adhesive

First of all, it’s worth noting that you can get Adhesive in Starfield in many ways:

  • First, you can buy this material from vendors in most major cities.
  • You can also collect this material from different plants.
  • Additionally, you can find some Adhesives by searching crates, containers, corpses, and other random sources of materials.
  • Finally, you can create your Adhesive farm.

If you need just a little Adhesive, buying this material is the best solution. Vendors like Amoli Bava in Jemison Mercantile (New Atlantis) are always willing to sell around 10 Adhesives for the 11 Credits. If you need more, you can sit on a chair and wait about 24 hours for the store to restock.

Quick ways to get Adhesive also include searching for loot from random sources. Being a cheap material, you will find it often in containers and on corpses. But this method depends only on luck, so you should consider it solely as an additional source.

If you spend most of your time traveling, you should prepare to scan all the plants you meet. Adhesive of vegetable origin is an ideal alternative to purchased material. For example, when you find the Sweetwater Cacti cactus, you can extract Adhesive Roots from this plant. However, this is not the only plant that gives you Adhesive, so scan all the flora on whichever planet you fly to. Even if you don’t find what you’re looking for, you’ll at least complete the Survey Data and earn some Credits.

Best Way To Farm Adhesive in Starfield

If you need a lot of Adhesives, you can create your own farm. You only need to create an outpost on a planet that grows plants like Sweetwater Cacti. For example, you can visit Gagarin Planet in the Alpha Centauri system. You will also have to upgrade the Botany skill to just 1 level. In addition to making it easier to search Adhesive when scanning new plants, you will also get access to the Greenhouse Outpost Module.

You only need to create a good outpost with Solar Panels, Containers, and other essential structures. After that, place a Greenhouse and transplant some plants to produce Adhesive. That’s all. Now, you can only wait a bit and enjoy an uninterrupted supply of Adhesive.
