In one word? Bobbers don’t do anything in Roblox Fisch, unlike bait and fishing rods. Bobbers are nothing more than a fancy cosmetic. With that said, you can view them as a badge of completion, more or less.
Most of the bobbers in Roblox Fisch are linked to the completion of specific bestiaries, like the Fake Pufferfish being given after you 100% the Roslit Bay bestiary.
