Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – MW3 Zombies offers a new way of fighting the undead that looks like a mixture of Outbreak and DMZ from last year. There are a lot of differences between this open-world Zombies mode and the old round-based game we used to play. However, you can still bring a Ray Gun to the fight, open Mystery Boxes for random weapons, and drink colas that give you a certain perk! This is while, besides being able to buy the sodas, you can literally get all the perks in MW3 Zombies – MWZ for free every single match.
How Many Perks Are There in MW3 Zombies
(Updated in September 25, 2024 – updated links and format)
- Deadshot Daiquiri
- Death Perception
- Jugger Nog
- PHD Flopper
- Quick Revive
- Speed Cola
- Stamin-Up
- Tombstone Soda
- Elemental Pop
All of the MWZ perk-a-colas are the same as the ones we had in Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak. However, this time, you can grab all of them for free in the game only if you complete a certain challenge.
All Free Perks Locations in MWZ
Out of 9 perks in the MW3 Zombies, all of them have an easter egg to be freely unlocked in the game, except for the Elemental Pop. Now remember, each one of these perks is always in the exact location marked on the tac map above, and the numbers for each perk match the list above. Another essential thing to note is that every time you spawn in a match, only one player can grab each one of these free perks. If a player has done the easter egg to grab Jugger Nog, for example, before you, you simply can not get the free perk anymore.
1. Deadshot Daiquiri
South of the Orlov military base, you’ll find a church that resembles the one in The Nun II. Now, you’d need a grenade for the Deadshot Daiquiri free perk easter egg in MW3 Zombies. Stand right where I’m facing in the image above, and throw the grenade to the top window. You have to throw the grenade from down there, and if you climb and make it easy for yourself, the perk won’t appear.
2. Death Perception
Go north on the Urzikestan map in MWZ, and you’ll find 3 loop statues standing in the open. See those rings? You’ll have to glide through all of them without falling to gain the free Death Perception perk in MW3 Zombies! Now, this might sound impossible, but you can cheese this challenge if you start from the one you see in the image below.
Climb up and start by going through the rings one after another. Remember that there’s no penalty for failing this challenge, and you can always try it again.
3. Jugger Nog
The Jugger Nog perk is by far the easiest soda you can gain for free in MW3 Zombies. All you need to do is go to the above location and then bring a Molotov or a Thermite with you. Throw the ignition tool to the campfire you see in the middle, and the perk is yours. GGs.
4. PHD Flopper
The PHD Flopper perk allows for blasting damage whenever you dive. And to gain this soda for free, you’ll need to do the exact same thing: diving. Go to the location above behind the Shahin Manor, and you’ll find a pool with Mister Peeks doll sitting beside it. Go to the rooftop of its nearby house, and then dive into the pool beside Mister Peeks to gain the free PHD Flopper perk in MWZ – MW3 Zombies.
5. Quick Revive
Mister Peeks has designed all these challenges in the Dark Aether era of Call of Duty Zombies story, telling you to dive, jump through the rings, and race! For the Quick Revive perk’s free challenge in MWZ, you’d have to go to the location above with a vehicle and wait for Mister Peeks to laugh. Then, put the pedal to the metal and go straight through the freeway until you reach the signs. It’s a 10-second or less race that’ll drop a free perk for you. However, if you go too slow on reaching the checkpoint, you’ll lose.
6. Speed Cola
A statue of a big bird is on the northwest side of the MWZ Urzikestan map marked on the image above. Go there, and you’ll find Mister Peeks sitting on top of the statue. In fact, it’s sitting there to see some exciting action from you. Bring a vehicle, and jump off the statue’s head to earn your free Speed Cola perk in MW3 Zombies.
7. Stamin-Up
Near the level 2 threat zone of the map, you’ll find a square that has tall buildings around it. Go to the exact building marked on the location above, and you’ll find two ways to get upstairs: a zipline and the stairs. Of course, the game doesn’t just offer you the free perk by taking the easy way, so you’d have to run 15 floors to the top, and you’ll have a Stamin-Up perk for your well-trained operator.
8. Tombstone Soda
Ready for a jump scare? Bring a sniper rifle and go to the exact location marked on the map above in the construction sites. Now, position yourself in front of the crane and aim for its near-top location to find Mister Peeks. Ping it, and Peeks will jump at you! Happy new perk.
