Sit back, relax —or chop up some trees, maybe— and let’s talk about how to snag yourself an enchanted golden apple in Minecraft.

The enchanted golden apple in Minecraft is the stuff of legends, the object of desire, the apple that shines like the sun. If you’re wondering how to get your hands on this coveted item, you’ve come to the right place.

Gather the Materials

Before you can even think about crafting an enchanted golden apple, you’ll need to gather the following materials:

  • 8 blocks of gold
  • 1 apple
  • 1 enchanting table
  • 2 diamonds

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Eight blocks of gold? Are you kidding me?” No, my friend, I’m not kidding. This is a serious business. But hey, if you’re going to do it, do it right.

Smelt the Gold to get an Enchanted Golden Apple in Minecraft

Once you’ve got your hands on those eight blocks of gold, it’s time to smelt them into gold ingots. You can do this by placing the blocks in a furnace and waiting for the magic to happen.

Craft the Apple

Next up, it’s time to get that apple ready for enchanting. Simply pluck an apple from a tree, and you’re ready. Just make sure it’s not one of those wormy ones.

Create the Enchantment Table to make an Enchanted Golden Apple in Minecraft

Now, this step requires some magic, so get ready. You’ll need two diamonds and four obsidian blocks to create an enchanting table. So first, place the obsidian blocks in a square shape, leaving the middle empty. Then, place the diamonds in the corners of the empty space. Boom, you’ve got an enchanting table.

Enchant the Apple

Finally, it’s time to enchant that apple. Place the apple on the enchanting table, along with eight gold ingots. You’ll need to be at least level 30 to enchant the apple, so make sure you’ve got some experience points under your belt.

And there you have it, my friend. An enchanted golden apple, all for you. Congratulations! You’ve done what many before you have tried and failed to do. You are now the proud owner of one of Minecraft’s most coveted items.

But wait, there’s more! Not only does the Enchanted Golden Apple in Minecraft look pretty cool, but it also has some pretty nifty benefits. When eaten, the enchanted golden apple will provide you with:

  • Regeneration for 30 seconds
  • Resistance for 5 minutes
  • Fire resistance for 5 minutes
  • Instant health boost
  • And, perhaps most importantly, a boost in your status as a Minecraft master

So go forth, my friend, and enjoy your enchanted golden apple. You’ve earned it.

Minecraft is available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS devices.
