Hellfire Torch Location in Blox Fruits
For the exact location, the Hellfire Torch drops from the Cursed Captain. Meanwhile, you can find the Cursed Captain in the Cursed Ship, which starts to appear in the Second Sea. Note that the Cursed Captain is a raid boss and you’re going to need help from a lot of players.
Moreover, the Cursed Captain is at least Lv. 1325. You can’t just waltz in and expect to kill him or get carried by other players. I recommend that your character is at Lv. 1300 or at least higher than Lv. 1000 before attempting this farm.
Farming the Hellfire Torch
Speaking of which, the Hellfire Torch also has a discouragingly low drop chance. Don’t expect to get it on the first try even if you’ve met or exceeded the level recommendations above. The drop rates from the Cursed Captain rely on RNG, as mentioned above.
However, you can increase your chances of getting the Hellfire Torch. Here’s what you need to do:
- Go to the Cursed Ship location in the Second Sea. The Cursed Captain appears every 12 minute-intervals or so in real-time. This might also vary based on chance.
- Open your chat log and look for the red text “A shiver runs down your spine…” This signifies the approach of the Cursed Captain.
- Fight and defeat the Cursed Captain.
- If you came in late and the other players have slain the Cursed Captain, switch to other servers as they might have a different timer.
- Repeat steps 2-4 until you get the Hellfire Torch. The drop chance is around 5-9 percent.
- Do not die or leave the game after obtaining the Hellfire Torch.
How to Use the Hellfire Torch in Blox Fruits
Again, don’t leave the game or die. Otherwise, you will drop and lose the Hellfire Torch. It cannot be stored.
What you want to do after obtaining it is go immediately to Experimic in the Cursed Ship’s kitchen. You can sell the Hellfire Torch to him along with 100 Ectoplasms to obtain the Ghoul race. Hopefully, nothing bad happens to you along the way. Don’t worry if you don’t have 100 Ectoplasm as you can give that and the Hellfire Torch separately.
