The Zskera Vault rooms are in a towering spire with many levels in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, and if you want to reach these upper floors, you will need a special item called the Pearlescent Bubble Key. Of course, adventurers will need access to the vaults using Zskera Vault Keys, which can be obtained by killing enemies, looting chests, and completing other activities within the Forbidden Reach. Once you have these keys, you can unlock the various treasure rooms inside the Zskera Vaults, one of which can contain the curious Pearlescent Bubble Key.

The Pearlescent Bubble Key in World of Warcraft Dragonflight will typically spawn on the second floor of the Zskera Vaults. After defeating the spiders on the first floor and using their web to ascend to the upper level, you will find the Pearlescent Bubble Key inside a small purplish-blue chest.

Other World of Warcraft players, such as those at Gamepur, have stated that they found this unique-looking chest inside a different room. Moreover, the weekly-changing state of the Zskera Vaults makes it tricky to pinpoint the exact location where this chest is located. However, the lootable container will always have the same model, as demonstrated in a video by YouTuber ZaFrostPet. After collecting the Pearlescent Bubble Key in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, the next step is to understand what its function is in the Zskera Vaults. According to the item’s in-game description, it serves as “an activator for an ancient device.” While a good mystery can be intriguing, such a vague explanation is less than helpful.

Fortunately, ZaFrostPet has also shown in their gameplay footage that the Pearlescent Bubble Key in World of Warcraft Dragonflight is used to activate the Bubble Lift, a pot-shaped device on the first floor of the spire. Once activated, the lift will produce a massive splash, creating bubbles that rise upward. You can step onto the device and ride one of the bubbles to the upper levels of the vaulted tower, allowing you to access the higher treasure rooms that were previously inaccessible. Remember that you will need several spare keys to unlock the treasure rooms above.

World of Warcraft is available on PC via Battle.net.
