When playing Minecraft, you will face many different enemies. But fortunately, you can deal with most of them with a sword. And for it to deal more damage, you must Enchant it, for example using Sweeping Edge Enchantment.

So, to get Sweeping Edge Enchantment in Minecraft, you need to either use an Enchantment Table or look for a Sweeping Edge Enchantment book. The Enchantment Table is not that difficult to make. However, you need a lot of luck, as all Enchantments are random.

You can buy a book with Sweeping Edge Enchantment from Librarian Villagers, find it in world chests, or fish with a fishing rod. But the chances of this are quite small. Therefore, we recommend you only use the Enchanting Table or trade with the Librarian Villagers.

How to Use Sweeping Edge Enchantment in Minecraft

With the Enchanting Table, everything is simple. Use the Sword, Lapis Lazuli, and spend experience to get the Enchantment. But if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on the Sweeping Edge Enchantment book, things get even easier. Combine it with the Sword on the anvil and easily Enchant your weapon.

Sweeping Edge is a very useful Enchantment as it increases the damage of your sweeping attacks. You use these attacks when the attack recharge meter is almost full or full. Also, this enchantment has three levels:

  • Level I – Increases sweeping attack damage by 50%.
  • Level II – Increases sweeping attack damage by 67%.
  • Level III – Increases sweeping attack damage by 75%
