The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lots of different collectibles, but only a few make you want to hug them and become BFFs. Blue Chuchus rank amongst the cutest enemies in Zelda, and even calling them enemies feels…generous. Maybe these big balls of jello just want to hug Link. Wouldn’t Hyrule be a happier place if it were a little more wholesome and a little less Ganondorf-y? It’s not their fault that they’re spicy. Regardless of their size, color, or cuteness, Blue Chuchu’s hold an essential resource. Here’s how to get Blue Chuchu Jelly in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

To get Chuchu Jelly, which is a blue ball that looks almost like candy, you must defeat Blue Chuchus. They’re easy to defeat as they will just keep bouncing toward Link until he hits them enough. Each time they bump into Link they will cause him damage, so even though they’re not very threatening, don’t let your guard down completely. Here’s where you can find them:

  • Hyrule Field
  • West Necluda

When they are defeated, they will drop Blue Chuchu Jelly. This is the same when it comes to White Chuchu Jelly (which just comes from White Chuchus instead). Thankfully, showing up in Hyrule Field makes Blue Chuchu-slaying easier than collecting Zelda Amiibos.

Blue Chuchu Jelly has a bunch of different purposes in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Like other monster parts, you can cook it into a variety of things. Chuchu Jelly is prepared with Bugs, Frogs, or Lizards to make Elixirs. Chuchu Jelly doesn’t add anything to any meals while working but is a required item for Elixir. Those Blue Chuchus would’ve been safer in Slime Rancher.
